How much does it cost to get a tattoo?

Prices very greatly depending on artist, size and placement, the best way to obtain an estimate is to either contact the artist directly or come by the shop.

Is there a shop minimum?

Our tattoos start from 500.000 VND, however for super small tattoos like beauty spots the needle opening price is 300.000 VND. 

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

You must be 18+ to get tattooed at Danangink Tattoo.

Are walk-ins welcome?

We will still serve walk-in customers, but to get the best quality of your tattoo please make an appointment in advance (at least 2 days) 

Do I have to leave a deposit?

Yes, we require all customers to deposit when booking a tattoo. This deposit will then be included in the price of the tattoo. If the tattoo requires more than one session, your deposit will be deducted at the last tattoo session. The deposit is non-refundable. If the appointment needs to be rescheduled, please notify 48 hours in advance otherwise the deposit will be lost.

What do I do if I want to get tattooed by a specific artist?

Each artist has a link to personal contact forms on their artist page. Please contact them through the form and they will respond to you as soon as possible.

What do I do if I need to cancel an appointment?

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must call the store during business hours (noon-8 pm) or contact your artist directly. Please note that all remaining messages after 8 pm will not be checked until the next day. All deposits are non-refundable.

What do you recommend for aftercare?
  • What to expect:
    Your tattoo will take about 2 weeks to heal. It will be soft for the first few days, then develop light scales and have a hard crust, these will gradually peel off. During this time, the tattoo may look ugly and seem like the color is peeling off with the scales. Don’t worry, this is normal. The final stage is when the tattoo looks healed but the surface is still waxy or shiny. You should follow the instructions below until the tattoo is completely healed.

  • Instructions:
    Keep the bandage on for at least 4 hours.
    Remove the bandage and do not re-bandage. Wetting the bandage when removing it will help the bandage not stick to the skin.
    Wash your hands, then wash the tattoo clean with mild soap and warm water, rinse the tattoo and pat dry. DO NOT SCRUB! Every day, keep the area clean and apply one of the recommended skin creams once a day.
    Don’t apply too much skin cream to the tattoo. However, don’t let it dry out completely between applications. Make sure your hands are clean every time you touch the tattoo and never let others touch it.

  • Aftercare cream:
    During the ENTIRE time the tattoo is healing, ONLY use the recommended skin creams, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is extremely important. No Vaseline, baby oil, alcohol, products containing alcohol, peroxide, mineral oil, moisturizing bag, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, Noxzema, natural remedies, etc. We also do not recommend Neosporin;. It is not a good product for healing tattoos. Many people have a strong reaction to it and sometimes it actually causes color loss during wound healing.

  • Recommended creams:
    Bepanthen balm, Balm Tattoo Dragon’ blood, InkTrox - Pax - Tattoo Butter, Hustle Butter Deluxe, After Tattoo Care Tolight Golden Dragon In some rare cases, some people may react to one of these skin creams. You will know if you have pimples or pimples around that area. This is not a problem, wash the area clean and switch to another recommended skin cream. Do not continue to use the skin cream if you have a reaction.
  • Should and should not:
    You can bathe as usual. However, during the 2-week healing period, do not submerge or soak your tattoo under any form. No swimming, hot water bathing or steaming. It will hinder the wound healing process and can cause infection and leave scars. Do not let your tattoo come into direct contact with sunlight for 2 weeks. Keep it covered with clothes. Don’t touch the tattoo! Let the scales peel off naturally. Do not scratch, rub or abuse the tattoo in any form. After your tattoo has healed, you can go under the sun but remember that the sun will quickly fade your tattoo and if you plan to go out in the sun, use sunscreen to protect it. Do not use sunscreen at least a month after tattooing and try to test that area to make sure you do not react.

How do I make an appointment with guest artists?

Guest artists are not regularly present in Da Nang, if you want to book them, please contact us at least 3 months in advance

Can I bring a friend?

You are allowed to have a friend accompany you to your appointment, however do to limited floor space we ask that you please limit it to only one guest.
